New Patients at
Ocean Health Center
In keeping with our efforts to bridge the gap between old school and modern approaches to care, Ocean Health Center new patient paperwork can be filled out either in the office at your first appointment or online prior to coming in. For all appointments, we suggest wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
INTAKE FORMS
Your First Visit
When you enter our spacious office, either Dr. Chris or Dr. Brandy (or sometimes both!) will greet you by name and make you feel welcome. Our office has a comfortable, relaxed ambience to help reduce your tension level immediately. The large, open rehab bay is visible when you walk in. The consultation and patient care rooms alongside the rehab bay are private to ensure your comfort and confidentiality.
You’ll meet with your chiropractor to discuss your health concerns and history. Our goal is to understand what’s bothering you and how this condition is impacting your life. Next, we’ll do a thorough evaluation, including orthopedic, neurological and motion palpation exams. We’ll explain everything we’re doing as we do it.
If we don’t need X-rays, we’ll then go over our report of findings with you. We’ll explain exactly what the problem is and how we recommend progressing. If you’re ready to begin, you’ll receive your first adjustment and any necessary therapies at this visit. Generally, the first visit lasts about 45 minutes.
Your Second Visit
Occasionally, we feel X-rays or other imaging are necessary before proceeding with care. In those cases, we will refer you out for imaging. Once you have the results, we’ll schedule your second visit to go over the images and give you our report of findings and recommendations for care.
Transparency
We will explain the financials with you at your first visit, so you can make a fully informed decision. We do not sell pre-paid, multi-session care plans. Here, you only pay for services you need.
